Movie Review (2): Pirates of the Caribbean: Dean Man’s Chest

I just saw Pirates 2 yesterday and thought the movie suffered the 'Curse of the Sequel'. Everything was overdone and over the top. From the downright silly action sequences to the labyrinthine plot. Some bits like the cannibal island sequence seemed tacked on and would best have been left on the editing room floor.

A lot of what made the first movie work was the chemistry between the 3 major characters. In this movie, they are separated for most of the film and as a result there is very little comic relief from the drudgery of the plot.

This film reminded me a lot of PJ's King Kong. Too long and too much.

The problem these pirate movies have is the lack of sex !! If they had Janine in there from vivid video's PIRATES then you would have an awesome movie !! Yeah Imagine Janine and Knightly going down together on Davey Jone's locker Johnny taking the wheel and doing the doggie paddle with Kiera while Janine sits up front !! Yeah !!

first of all, you are totally off.The problem with men like you is that you are all geared toward the same thing. The movie is a reflection of the immaturity that is inherent in your kind. Sounds to me that you would like nothing better than to go off trapsing in the carribean and live a life that is free from responsibility. Get over it. Sounds to me like you are probably 30 or 40 something and either still living with your mommy or do everything that your wife says. Once again captain wayneright, take the movie for what it is........fantasy and leave it at that!!!!!!!!!

ahhh... A psyche major who can't spell. Sorry, but you're wrong on all counts.
I am what used to be called a CLASS CLOWN. I thought I was being funny. You must have been offended by my brand of humor. It's not for everybody. Just me and my fellow clowny pervs. Next time review the film and don't start picking on people who you don't know. For all you know I could trace you.

Like I said Lezzie, I am not that easily profiled you female male hating bull dike. I live alone and have a vast collection of porn because I own a porn store and I do this all day. Play on the pc and look at m/c and porn sites
You're only mad because I am funnier than you. By the way POTCDMC was a great movie and the sequel was good too. ( after all we must review/comment on films here.)

I seem to be a bit late for this one. I thought this was about reviewing and commenting on films and such. I think Girlzrule and Mr. Waynewright should get married unless of course one of them is a pufter. There is a new Pirates/carribean movie out you two. Move on with your lives no one can win this lovers spat you're having. Hugh is an outright prevert and the girl must have been abused by men as a child she has pent up hostilities. H.W. on the other hand I think the FEDS should investigate him. If there is really a person out there like him I fear for my loved ones. His store his online accounts and whatever else should be siezed. The girl must learn to keep to herself its too violent out there these days to dare people like she is doing.
I work here. Keep it about movies.
