I agree with this review. I left about the time the ship returned from England on its rescue mission; besides the general pointlessness and non-scenic-merely-greenic scenerey,I couldn't take looking at Pocahantas's lame raggedy costume any more. Holllywood! This is how people who've lived in an environment for thousands of years dress their bigwig's favorite daughter? I don't think so! Also, the starving colonists sure did a lot of fighting and dying.

If I could count the number of times I nearly got up and left! Compare this movie to Kevin Costners 'Dances with wolves' as the are very similar in many ways and in my opinion DWN blows this one away!

This movie is one of the worst I have ever seen. There is no Historical context at all. It is not even a good travelogue.
