From Monsters and Critics.com Movies News Ian McKellen has been writing on his official web site regards his casting in the forthcoming adaptation of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code. McKellen, who will play Grail hunter Sir Leigh Teabing, says he is "thrilled to be working with them (Tom Hanks and Ron Howard) both for the first time." He also says "An extra delight is that this Hollywood studio movie is being filmed in Europe and for most of the shooting this summer, I shall be able to live at home in London. I start rehearsing at Shepperton Studios on May 3rd." The book starts with the murder of a Lourve curator and the clues he leaves behind, which send Robert Langdon on a journey that leads to a well-protected secret that could change Christianity forever.
