Damon has plenty to smile about
Well as expected Matt Damon's The Bourne Supremacy has pushed I.Robot off the top spot. In fact pushed is an understatement if the estimates hold up. $53 million+ it looks to have pulled in. That’s more almost double what the first Bourne movie took.

This will surely propel Damon into the A-list big time.

Also as expected Catwoman performed poorly. Halle Berry's feline comic character failed to impress the public. Pulling in just over $17 million. Given it cost around $100 million to make. So a couple of poor performers in a row for Berry.

I, Robot actually dropped quite a bit which will be disappointing for the studio. Over 50% fall in sales.

The rest, well King Arthur continues to do badly, though it is doing well in Europe and not out in the UK yet where it will probably perform very well.

Next week we have The Village, The Manchurian Candidate and Thunderbirds. The first two should pull in a big audience; the later is really only for bored kids. See our review for details.

Lastly Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle may prove to be the surprise hit of the month. It is receiving rave reviews. Though what about that poor raccoon!
