From Monsters and Critics.com Movies News In his latest film, "War, Inc.," John Cusack plays a corporation-hired hit man charged with assassinating the CEO of a competitor. The film hits theaters May 23. Cusack has an affinity for hit men, it seems. His "Grosse Pointe Blank" was a tour de force of whipsmart writing and an excellent performance delivered by Cusack as a hitman on leave for a High School reunion. Also shining were costars Joan Cusack, Minnie Driver, Dan Ackroyd and Jeremy Piven. Cusack has always done well playing the odd man out; in "Bullets Over Broadway" he was a writer who was at the mercy and whim of a gangster to portaying Nelson Rockefeller in the "Cradle Will Rock". His portrayal of kickboxer Lloyd Dobler in 1989's "Say Anything" had sealed his place as a star. Now, actor John Cusack sits down with his friend, ex-strippper turned scribe, "Juno" writer Diablo Cody in this exclusive interview. The duo touches on topics that include their first shows, their next movies and what fans can't stop yelling at John: Artist on Artist: John Cusack and Diablo Cody© Copyright 2007 by monstersandcritics.com.
