From Monsters and Critics.com Movies News Actress Rachael Harris has joined the cast of The Soloist for DreamWorks. Joe Wright is scheduled to direct the film – which will also feature Jamie Foxx, Robert Downey Jr. and Catherine Keener. The film’s script was penned by Susannah Grant (Erin Brockovich) based on articles by columnist Steve Lopez that ran in the Los Angeles Times in 2005. Lopez's articles focused on Nathaniel Ayers (Foxx) – a homeless and schizophrenic musician dreaming of playing at Los Angeles' Disney Hall. Harris has signed on to play Lopez's co-worker, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film’s production is set to start in January with Gary Foster and Russ Krasnoff handling producing duties.
