Adam Rifkin’s caveman comedy ‘Homo Erectus’ has started hiring humans to fill out the cast.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Kung Fu master David Carradine, random babe Ali Larter, perennial sidekick Tom Arnold, and some other people named Talia Shire and Hayes MacArthur have signed on the dotted line to work for Rifkin. They’ll all play cave people. This is particularly good casting for Tom Arnold. Will Carradine’s be a Kung Fu caveman? We can only hope.

Larter will play Fardart, the object of Rifkin’s cavedude Ishbo’s affection. But Fardart isn’t interested in the philosophical Ishbo, she prefers his big, dumb, heavily muscled brother Thudnik, played by MacArthur. Carradine and Shire will jump in as Ishbo’s parents, and Tom Arnold will play a caveman who’s gay. His name is Rog.
