John Landis to direct Show Dogs

New Line Cinema has hired John Landis to direct their forthcoming comedy Show Dogs.Variety reports Show Dogs tells the tale of a homeless Jack Russell terrier thrust into the competitive world of dog shows.The script is by Mike Bender and was picked up by New Line a few years ago.
