Voltron: Defender of the Universe movie in the pipe

Producers Mark Gordon and Pharrell Williams plan on making a big screen version of 1980's kids series Voltron: Defender of the Universe.The Hollywood Reporter says the story will follow five maverick explorer-pilots who have to travel to the planet Arus to learn how to work Voltron, a giant robotic warrior made up of five smaller ones.The series came out in 1984 and spawned numerous toys and products.
