Kate Hudson cast in You, Me and Dupree

Kate Hudson has joined the cast of comedy You, Me and Dupree.
Production Weekly reports that Hudson will join Owen Wilson, with Joe and Anthony Russo directing.
The film follows unwanted houseguest Randy Dupree (Wilson) who moves in with some newlyweds and proves very hard to shift.
Filming is due to begin in the fall.

Kate Hudson plays all the same one-note, tiresome roles...how to lose a guy - barf! Raising Helen - yuck! I don't hate her, but I think there would be better actresses to play off Owen Wilson and Matt Dillon. Even Cameron Diaz or Amanda Peet would do fine.
