David Fincher directs Zodiac and Benjamin Button back-to-back

Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures have hired David Fincher to direct Zodiac and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Variety reports Fincher is preparing to start production in September on Zodiac, which stars Mark Ruffalo, Downey Jr., Jake Gyllenhaal and Anthony Edwards.Adapted from Robert Graysmith's novels tracking the obsessive efforts of three people who sought to bring the infamous Zodiac killer to justice. The serial killer is though to have murdered at least 37 people in and around San Francisco from 1966-78.The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett starring, follows a man, who at 50, begins to age backwards...leading to him falling in love with a woman of 30.Fincher will make the movies back-to-back.
