Ryan Gosling and Anthony Mackie in Half Nelson

Ryan Gosling and Anthony Mackie have been cast in the indie film Half Nelson.Variety reports the movie is a feature length version of Ryan Fleck's award-winning short film Gowanus, Brooklyn.The film follows the relationship between a white teacher, a black student and a local drug dealer.Fleck is directing and filming is expected to star this month in Gotham.
