The game followed the adventures of Farmer as he goes from being a simply man to a prince; set in a fantasy world where war rages and heroic deeds await Farmer sets out to avenge his murdered son and rescue his kidnapped wife.
Also cast are Ron Perlman as Norick, Matthew Lillard as Duke Fallow; Burt Reynolds as King Konreid; and Kristanna Loken (Loken starred in Boll's last film, BloodRayne) as Elora, an magical tree-like creature who aids Farmer.
Filming is due to start this weekend in Vancouver.
