Bourne Ultimatum writer hired

Tony Gilroy (Armageddon) has been hired by Universal Pictures to write The Bourne Ultimatum, the third film in the series.Variety reports that Matt Damon has expressed interest but not signed, likewise no director has been set.Gilroy previously adapted Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy.
