War of the Worlds Internet Only Trailer Over at Yahoo

An internet only trailer to Paramounts War of the Worlds is now online over at Yahoo. The trailer does not feature much new footage, but still gives a good tease as like previous War of the Worlds trailers.

War of the Worlds is Spielbergs adaptation of H. G. Wells' classic science fiction novel of Alien Invasion. While not been set to the original turn of the 20th century time in which the original novel was set in but in a modern day setting, Steven Spielberg promises to be a close adaptation to the book.
Not much has been officially revealed about the movie pre release, but the film will closely follow the family of father Ray (Tom Cruise) through the horrors of the Alien invasion. The family will be forced in refuge from the fiercesome machines of the Alien foe, such as the infamous Fighting Machines also known as the tripods. The tripods are the true meaning of terror.
Tom Cruise has called the David Koepp script of the movie. "The greatest script he has ever read". When War of the Worlds hits theaters worldwide from June 29th just expect to be totally amazed.
