Spike Lee takes The Inside Man to Brooklyn
By James Wray Jun 9, 2005, 2:45 GMT
Spike Lee is taking his forthcoming drama The Inside Man to Brooklyn's Steiner Studios, according to Variety.
It seems the tax incentives offered by the city and state have drawn the production to the area.
The movie, which stars Jodie Foster, Denzel Washington and Clive Owen, concerns a bank robber who is trying to complete the perfect job but finds himself in a hostage situation after a cop tries to foil his plans.
Foster will play a lawyer who is brought into the negotiations, further complicating the standoff.
Brian Grazer is producing with a script from Russell Gewirtz.
