Dennis Hopper for Land of the Dead?

The Horror Channel is reporting that Dennis Hopper has picked u pa starring role in "Land of the Dead". The latest in George A. Romero's zombie series.
The movie has a budget of around $16 million and is due to start filming sometime in the Fall. Quite unusual for a fairly big name actor to be cast since previous Romero movies have featured unknowns.
In this latest instalment zombies have taken over the world. Survivors are hold up in a geographically protected city. While the rich stay safe in the sky scraper (Fiddler's Green) the poor must survive on the chaotic streets below. They also have to deal with the said zombies who are trying to break in.
The previous films were "Day of the Dead", "Night of the Living" Dead and "Dawn of the Dead".
