Laurence Fishburne cast in Death and Life of Bobby Z

Production Weekly reports Doug Aarnioski will direct from a script by Allan Lawrence and Bob Krakower, with Walker also producing.The story follows a loser, Tim Kearney, who avoid a prison sentence by making a deal to pose as a legendary surfer-drug dealer, Bobby Z, in a hostage swap with a Mexican drug lord. When everything goes wrong, he goes on the run with the son of the real drug dealer in tow.Filming is set to begin in the fall.
