Day of the Dead to join list of horror remakes

The original starred Lori Cardille and Terry Alexander and followed a group of scientists and military personnel hold up in a bunker as zombies prowl the earth above.
The film was the third in the series that began with Night of the Living Dead in 1968 and Dawn of the Dead in 1978. The later has already been remade by Universal who released it last year. You can find details from that remake in our database.
Romero himself is set to make another zombie movie in the form of Land of the Dead, which you can read about in our database and in the World of Horror column.
