Leo DiCaprio to star in adaptation of Robert Ludlum's thriller The Chancellor Manuscript

Variety reports Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher will produce from a script by Michael Seitzman (Class Action).
DiCaprio will play Peter Chancellor, who discovers a plot to alter U.S. politics by a mysterious group of intellectuals (Inver Brass) high up in the intelligence community.
This puts him on a collision course with the group and leads to a confrontation that blows the Intel community apart.
