Colin Hanks in The Great Buck Howard

Colin Hanks has been cast, and Kevin Kline is in talks, to star in The Great Buck Howard.The Hollywood Reporter says Playtone partners Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman producing with Sidney Kimmel with Sean McGinly directing from his own script.The film follows a failed magician and his assistant as they try to relaunch his career.Tom Hanks will also have a cameo in the film as the Colin Hank's father.
