Kathy Bates joins the Funny Farm

Kathy Bates has been cast in Funny Farm where she joins Malcolm McDowell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Rupert Graves, Lucy Davis and Ian Hart.The Hollywood Reports says the film is set in a celebrity drug and alcohol rehab clinic and is a follow-up to Mary McGuckian's experimental satire Rag Tale.McGuckian will again direct and use the same techniques as Rag Tale, with the cast choosing their own roles and working with no script.Filming is due to start in New Mexico in the fall.
