Sony Pictures aquire rights to vampire novel The Historian

Variety reports Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher will produce the feature.The novel follows a young girl who, after discovering her fathers' dark secret, travels across Europe to to find history's most legendary fiend: Dracula.The book will be published in the US June 14 and you can read more about it in our database.
