Karl Urban is in talks to star in Outlander

Karl Urban is in talks to star in Outlander, a sci-fi adventure about a man from another galaxy who crashes on Earth during the age of the Vikings, bringing with him an alien predator called Moorwen.
Variety reports Howard McCain is directing from his own script, which he wrote with Dirk Blackman.
Bob and Harvey Weinstein's company will distribute with the film due to start production in New Zealand in the fall.
