Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher cast in The Guardian

Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher have been cast in The Guardian for Disney.
Production Weekly reports Andrew Davis will direct the story of Jake Cummings (Ahston Kutcher), a young man who is out of control. He joins the Coast Guard, where a legendary rescue swimmer (Kevin Costner) becomes his mentor.
Costner's character has previously lost crewmates in a crash and helps the young man turn his life around by teaching him about sacrifice and loss.
Filming is due to begin in Louisiana in the fall.
