John Woo remakes classic French thrillers

John Woo will remake three classic French thrillers with StudioCanal.Variety reports movies are Honor Among Thieves (1968), starring Charles Bronson and Alain Delon; Rider on the Rain (1969), with Bronson and Marlene Jobert; and The Prone Gunman (1982), again starring Delon.Woo may direct Honor Among Thieves, which is due to start production later in the year.The films will be promoted as "The Thriller Collection" and will possibly include other films from the studios back catalogue.
