Spielberg Munich Olympics Film Gets a New Script

Variety is reporting that "Angels in America" writer Tony Kushner is to rewrite Spielberg's movie about the Munich Olympics, where Palestinian terrorists held the Israeli team hostage. All the hostages later died during the rescue attempt.Spielberg has already delayed this project pushing it back to late 2004. It now looks like it will not see light until 2005. His other projects include working on a remake of "War of the Worlds" with Tom Cruise and a 19th century film called "The Rivals".It is also worth noting that a film like this would be quite a risk, given the fear of something happening this year at Athens.
