Cave is a critically acclaimed song writer

The film is set in the early 19th century and is described as an epic Australian story about family, loyalty and betrayel. A sort of Australian western saga.Producer Chris Brown told The Hollywood Reporter that a major British star was also likely to be added to the cast.In a recent interview Nick Cave described the writing process, "It’s taking up a huge amount of time, mostly sitting around, waiting for people to get back to you," he said."I’m slowly learning that a screenwriter is pretty much the bottom part of the food chain in Hollywood. They’re not deal makers, they’re these people who sit in rooms and dream about things. They’re not taken that seriously, which is kind of extraordinary." Source: The Hollywood Reporter
