Daryl Hannah has been cast in Love is the Drug for Alpine Pictures.The Hollywood Reporter says Lizzy Caplan, D.J. Cotrona, Jenny Wade and John Patrick Amedori have already been cast.Hannah's role is of single mother Sandra Brand who is struggling to bring up her son Jonah (Amedori). It follows her attempts to get him into an elite private school in California.Elliot Lester will make his directorial debut from a script by Wesley Strick and Steve Allison.Filming is due to begin next week in Los Angeles.
