Mel Gibson May do Pope John Paul II Movie

Mel Gibson is rumored to be looking at making a film about the life of the late Pope John Paul II.
Dark Horizons reports the New York Post says the devote Catholic director sent a production crew to Rome to film the Pope's funeral last Friday.
Whether anything comes of it remains to be seen but Gibson has expressed interest in producing more religious themed films following the success of his The Passion of the Christ.
