Mark Wahlberg in Talks to Star in Vince Papale Movie

Walt Disney Pictures is in talks with Mark Wahlberg to star in a movie based on the real story of Philadelphia Eagles player Vince Papale, a fan who turned up for an open trial and ended up on the team.
Variety reports debut director Ericson Core, who has previously worked as a cinematographer on the likes of “Daredevil,” will helm the movie from a script by Brian Gann.
The film is under the working title "Invincible" but this is sure to change.
