Brad Anderson Set to Direct Horror Remake The Crazies

Paramount has hired Brad Anderson to direct horror remake "The Crazies."Variety reports that Anderson will direct the remake of George Romero's 1973 movie from a script by Scott Kosar.The story will be brought up-to-date with the original following the events in a small Pennsylvania town after a mishap with a biological weapon, leading to insanity, rioting and murder.Kosar also wrote the remakes of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "The Amityville Horror."
