Green Day Hit The Big Screen

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has teamed up with movie-makers to bring his autobiographical “American Idiot: The Motion Picture“ to the big screen.
Armstrong has written a treatment for the project - due to start shooting next year (06) - and has handed it to a top screenwriter, who is currently developing the characters.
The Boulevard Of Broken Dreams star will continue to keep a close eye on the movie, but remains tight-lipped as to whether the band will star in their own film.
He says, "I just want to make sure it's done properly and does not suck. I think there'll be more music to go with the film. But as far as us being in it, I couldn't say."
