Fever Pitch Stars Batter Up For Premiere

The US film marks the second time Hornby's best-selling soccer novel Fever Pitch has been adapted for the big screen - the first being the 1997 British movie starring Colin Firth as an Arsenal-obsessed fan.
However, the Farrelly brothers have adapted Hornby's tale to suit an American audience - and switched soccer for baseball, by focusing the story on the Boston Red Sox.
Barrymore gushed, "He's brilliant, he's a genius. We're so honoured to be able to give this love letter to (the Red Sox) and (Boston)."
