The book follows Jake Geismar, an American correspondent who spent time in the Berlin before the war, has returned to write about the Allied triumph while pursuing a more personal quest: his search for Lena, the married woman he left behind. When an American soldier’s body is found in the Russian zone during the Potsdam Conference, Jake stumbles on the lead to a murder mystery.
Steven Soderbergh will direct from a screenplay by Paul Attanasio.

i am so happy that george and steven are making this movie..they are a great team.and george is perfect for this part..but then again, george is perfect in all that he does..i love him..k.m...
