Hand of Spielberg at Work in Revenge of the Sith

By James Wray Apr 1, 2005, 14:04 GMT

Jonathan Rinzler who wrote 'The Making of Star Wars, Episide III - Revenge of the Sith' says Spielberg had a look at some key scenes
It seems Steven Spielberg was involved in some of the early development of animatic sequences in "Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith."

The official Web site has an interview with J.W. Rinzler, who wrote the forthcoming "The Making of Star Wars, Episide III - Revenge of the Sith" book, Rinzler mentions that Spielberg had a hand in some of the scenes.

"As George explains in the book, he gave Spielberg a few scenes to play with at the animatics stage: a bit of the Mustafar duel, and Yoda's duel with the Emperor, along with a couple of others. How much of Spielberg's contribution made it to the final film, only Lucas or Spielberg could say, particularly as George revised and reinvented every scene in the film so extensively in editorial. "

You can read the full interview over on the official Website. Further details on the book can be found in our database.
