Russell Crowe and Ron Howard Eye The Power of Duff

Russell Crowe and Ron Howard may be set to team up again on Universal's "The Power of Duff."
Variety is reporting the Stephen Belber script would be produced by Marc Platt and Brian Grazer.
Crowe would play a TV news anchor man who goes off the rails after his father's death. He starts to pray during his braodcasts. When these prayers are answered he becomes the focus of media attention.
This would be the third time Howard, Crowe and Grazer have worked together. Having made "A Beautiful Mind" and more recently "Cinderella Man," which follows the life of American depression-era boxer Jim Braddock.
