Orlando Bloom as Bond on the Cards

Speaking to Sky TV Movie News the star said: "I love the idea, in principle, as he can be far more adventurous and do more stunts. This is as near as I think I will get to playing the grown up James for the next 20 years."
Sky says the project is related to an as yet undisclosed series of books. However, we think these must be the series by Charlie Higson, which are set before Bond becomes an official MI6 agent. The first in the series "Silverfin - Book One : A James Bond Adventure" was published in the UK this month and is set to hit the US April 27...though we could be wrong.
In the first of the series Bond is only thirteen, but the second book is due out later this year and it is not beyond imagination that they could have Bloom play a college age Bond. In addition Miramax are the publisher in the US.
If someone knows of another set of Bond books due to be published please do let us know.
