Trudy, ironically I forgot it was on. Will have to see if it repeated tonight.
Ross always walks a fine line. I noticed recently he has been commenting on how people look as well...like a big nose or big ears...When Christopher Eccleston was on a few weeks ago he really went a bit far I thought regards the ears...
But always good viewing.
It was a bit of a turnabout in the end as I felt at first that JR was slightly in awe of her and seemed to be making a rather a meal of it but once he got into his stride he completely wiped the floor with her. I think she probably did herself more harm than good by agreeing to take part live. It was rather funny but I also felt slightly sorry for her as she clearly couldn't cope with JR's mickey taking style. Compulsive viewing though, I agree.
I normally find JR funny, but I thought his interviews with Kidman and Schwimmer were bizarre - was he feeling okay?
I think Ross crossed the line this time. Calling Nicole's mother a 'mean bitch' and his reference to a redhead's 'fish finger' were offensive. Nicole was genuinely shocked.
Oh good God, don't be so soft! Nicole Kidman is as thick as two short planks and just didn't get the whole thing. It was uncomfortable because it's always uncomfortable watching the brainless. She's a vacuous bimbo coasting on the back of someone else's success. Johnathan Ross is nowhere NEAR big enough to be important to how she feels, she just didn't try. The interview with David Schwimmer was very good I thought. If you watch it again with tongue very firmly in cheek for BOTH of them, you'll see what I mean. Schwimmer's reactions were very rehearsed.
does any one know how if you can watch a previous episode (n the sites) of jonathan ross on the computor or somthing? i saw one a my fave actors n missed it
thanks

Ross made absolute mincemeat of the actress. I've never seen anyone squirm so much. She appeared extremely flaky with little sense of humour. But very brave of her to agree to a 'live' interview. At least she didn't do a 'Meg Ryan'. Ms Kidman is a brilliant actress and very watchable, but is obviously uncomfortable with these types of interviews. Rossy is very sharp and can push the barriers of acceptable conversation at times, but he always checks himself if he goes to far. Cringeworthy and compelling viewing all at the same time!
