Viola Davis Joins 50 Cent in Locked and Loaded

Paramount and MTV Films have cast Tony-winning actress Viola Davis to star in a forthcoming feature starring 50 cent.
The film, under the working title "Locked and Loaded," will see Davis play the rapper's grandmother who raises him. The film itself is partly autobiographical with 50 Cent playing a gangster who changes his life and becomes a musician; Joy Bryant is also cast.
Filming is due to start shortly with Jim Sheridan directing from a script by Terrence Winter.
