Milla Jovovich Cast in .45

Milla Jovovich and Angus Macfadyen have been cast in black comedy ".45," an independent movie that also stars Andie MacDowell and Stephen Dorff.

Production Weekly reports the two will top line the movie about a married couple involved in small-time crime in New York's Hell's Kitchen during the mid-1970s. It explores domestic violence and its consequences.

Macfadyen will play Jovovich's boyfriend and a drug and arms dealer. He abusers her once too often and she decides to use her charms to persuade his friends into framing him for murder.

Filming is due to start next month in Toronto.
