Excellent!! It will be wonderful to see Patrick McGoohan perform once again!! I have done a bit of research on Dr. Royal Rife and the topic for 'Illumination'. Those of us who have followed Mr. McGoohan's career can definitely see him stepping right into this role and taking off with it. Thank you Mr. Leirness for setting the stage for Mr. McGoohan and providing us with an avenue by which to admire his work once again. And to you Mr. McGoohan, my heart felt Thank You!! and Bravo!!!
Mr. McGoohan and I have been in business together for a long time. We speak regularly. When I asked him about the rumors started by the producer of ILLUMINATION stating he had agreed to be in the film, his reply was, 'It's a lie....it's bullshit! This guy is just trying to get publicity for his film.'
He told me this just last week. End of story.

Larry Green
What????
To expend on my comment above - Mr Green, are you genuine, or is this just a joke in poor taste? Secondly, in what capacity have you 'worked with' Mr McGoohan??
OK, I looked 'Larry Green AND Patrick McGoohan' up on Google, and there is indeed an association there. If you truly are Larry Green, then you have just dashed this PMcG admirer's hopes of seeing him on screen. However, if he genuinely doesn't want to be in the film, I have to respect his judgement. Hope to be seeing you PMG.
I am sorry for the disappointment but Mr. McGoohan has retired and wants to be with his family. He turned down the role of Dumbledore (Harry Potter) TWICE. He certainly wouldn't commit to this film after that show of faith.
He has created a vast wealth of work for us all to enjoy.....let's do so.
Regards,
Larry Green
Well, as I said, I can only respect his wishes as it would be selfish to put his welfare before my own disappointment! I certainly am enjoying avidly collecting everything he ever starred in. If you can do one thing for me; please could you pass on my heartfelt thanks to him and my good wishes to him and his family? I know he doesn't know me from Eve, but....
Many thanks.
Carol Brady.
Sorry, that was a ridiculous request, and very forward of me!
Oh my goodness he was offered the role of Dumbledore?! Is that true?
Pity McGoohan's 'retired'. Ten dollars says he comes out of retirement in the next five years.
