John Travolta to Appear at Oscars

John Travolta will present at the 77th Academy Awards® , telecast producer Gil Cates announced today.
Travolta has twice been nominated in the Leading Actor category, for "Saturday Night Fever" in 1977 and "Pulp Fiction" in 1994. He will be seen next in "Be Cool," the sequel to "Get Shorty." Travolta's other film credits include "Ladder 49," "A Love Song for Bobby Long," "Basic," "A Civil Action," "Face/Off" and "Phenomenon."
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2004 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland®. The Oscars® will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m. PST / 8 p.m. EST, beginning with a half-hour arrivals segment.
