Casting for The Fog Remake

Tom Welling and Maggie Grace have been cast in the forthcoming remake of John Carpenter's horror "The Fog."The original movie was set in Northern California, where a luminescent fog enshrouds the coastline. The fog echoes one of 100 years ago that caused a ship to be wrecked with the loss of the crew. The sailors are now out for revenge on the town that gave them their watery grave.The Hollywood Reporter says Welling will play a local boat owner and Grace has been cast as a college girl who is back in her hometown for the summer.
