Will Smith set to Romance as Superhero

Columbia Pictures is in talks to fund "Tonight, He Comes" as a showcase for Will Smith.
Variety reports Jonathan Mostow will direct the film which tells the story of a superhero who crash-lands in Sheepshead Bay, N.Y., and causes chaos as he romances a local housewife in an attempt to revitalize himself.
The script was written six years ago by Vincent Ngo, and is said to be thought of as one of the best scripts of recent years not to have made to the screen.
Michael Mann will produce with Akiva Goldsman; Vince Gilligan is penning another draft of the script with a holiday 2006 release in mind.
