Bryan Singer to Direct Teen Murder Drama

Warner Bros. Pictures has picked up film rights to Judy Bachrach's article "U Want Me 2 Kill Him?," which appeared in Vanity Fair magazine.
Variety reports that the story charts a bizarre Internet relationship between a 14-year-old loner with a vivid imagination and the 16-year-old with whom he communicates. The younger boy ended up being stabbed twice and nearly killed by the older. This left the injured party being charged as the co-conspirator in a his own murder attempt.
Bryan Singer is set to develop and direct the film.
