Paul W.S. Anderson is a Man With the Football

Paul W.S. Anderson ("Resident Evil") is set to direct "Man With the Football" for Columbia Pictures.

The Hollywood Reporter says the movie revolves around a group of terrorists who steal the U.S. president's "football," the briefcase containing computer and telecommunications equipment that can launch a nuclear strike.

Screenwriter John Pogue will rewrite his original screenplay with Neal Moritz and Pogue to produce.
