Great! Those Prisoner fans over at The Unmutual website will be happy to hear that!
News to me, but it'd be fantastic to see Patrick back on the big screen. A repeat run of The Prisoner has just ended tonight on BBC4.
This news was announced on The Unmutual Website in November of last year (the article is now in our news archive). Sounds like an interesting project!

It'll be great to see Paddy again if these rumours prove to be true.
Great site, by the way Rick!
Thanks for the kind words about the site, John. Yes - it'd be great to see Patrick on the big screen. It's been far too long!
That would be great. I have just watched the re-run of the Prisoner on BBC4, and wouldn't miss an episode. Patrick McGoohan is so charismatic.
Does anyone know when and if this information will be confirmed. I would love to see Patrick McGoohan on the screen again. It has been far to long. He is a great actor.
Toni, the chap who sent me the info is close to the production, said he would update me. Failing that I would expect an official press release once all is locked and loaded.
James this news is so great to hear. How long before the press release?
Thanks again
Great news to hear.P-Mcgooan is the best at any role.I'm sure we won't be disappointed.
I'm sorry to rain on everyones parade but Mr. McGoohan and I have been in business together for quite some time. We speak on a regular basis. In his own words about the 'news' of him starring in a new film, 'It's bullshit! This producer is just using my name to promote his film. I never agreed to it.' (the film ILLUMINATION).
Just curious...
Did McGoohan authorize your quoting his alleged use an expletive? Doesn't sound like the PM I know...
patrick mcgooan as longshanks a legend .well hit their men to attack.classic
