Hoffman set for Stranger than Fiction

Dustin Hoffman has signed on to star in forthcoming comedy "Stranger than Fiction." Will Ferrell plays an IRS auditor who finds himself the subject of narration that only he can hear. The voiceover begins to deeply affect everything from his work to his love life.Variety reports Hoffman's professor character helps the auditor in his attempts to find the narrator and change the story.Maggie Gyllenhaal, Queen Latifah and Emma Thompson are also cast.Marc Forster is directing from a script by Zach Helm.Hoffman can currently be seen in "Meet the Fockers."
