Martin Scorsese Set as Oscar Presenter

Academy Award-nominated director Martin Scorsese will present at the 77th Academy Awards® Presentation, telecast producer Gil Cates announced today.
Scorsese, who has received seven Oscar nominations over the years is nominated this year for directing Best Picture nominee "The Aviator." His other film credits include "Gangs of New York," "The Age of Innocence," "Cape Fear," "Good Fellas," "The Color of Money," "Raging Bull" and "Taxi Driver."
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2004 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland®. The Oscars will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m. PST / 8 p.m. EST, beginning with a half-hour arrivals segment.
